The Retrophotography is the the nineteenth-century style photographing technique using the original old-time wooden large format camera. This is a unique and interesting historical spectacle. We look back to the days when wanting to take a picture of yourself one had to go to the photo atelier or possibly order a photographer. The shooting time takes a few seconds when, like in old times, the model must remain motionless.
We take such photographs, both in our studio or on location, as well as during events, weddings, historical reconstructions and other celebrations. The final product is a black and white gelatin silver contact print or sepia toned of dimension 18 / 24 cm surrounded by a passe-partout 24 / 30 cm or more. The final image is characterized by incredible beauty, texture and durability. We do not apply retro styling in the form of digitally processed images. Our pictures are only the true Retrophotography, which is a wonderful keepsake and when framed could be a tasteful indoor decoration for years.
